The Mediterranean Sea Basin is predominantly considered as a tourist area, by consequence the industrial sector daily looses its centrality. The development of an analysis instrument, based on official and comparable data, is envisaged in order to industrially and commercially empower the Mediterranean Sea and in order to help the Mediterranean Regions to re-gain their economic diversification, which plays a fundamental role in a sound economy.
The OBSIND Project main objective is the establishment of an “Observatory for the Mediterranean Industry” initially addressed to the participating Regions, the Province of Rome, the Balear Islands’ Autonomous Community, the Region of Central Macedonia, the Province of Medio Campidano, the Region of Crete and, in a near future, to the rest of world regions.
The OBSIND Project, financed by the European Union Initiative “INTEREGG III B MEDOCC Programme”, aims to:
- encourage the matchmaking between private dealers from different areas willing to develop an internationalisation path for their companies;
- create an area for exchanging experiences and best practices among institutional actors involved in the internationalisation process of local productive sectors;
- make comparative analysis among similar products from different participating Regions and study their specific difficulties;
- establish a strategy to strengthen the Mediterranean industry on foreign markets;
- create a physical and/or virtual space where main entrepreneurs can share experiences, know how and data, useful to the commercialization and internationalisation of their products;
- give useful qualitative/quantitative hints to policy makers about the trend of industrial production, in order to enable them to identify the best policies and synergies for local economic development.
OBSIND is willing to become a useful instrument of economic-commercial liaison among the Mediterranean Regions. From this point of view, the OBSIND Market Place acts as a central component of the Observatory and as an area of proposal and research for commercial partnerships.
La Mer Méditerranée est principalement considérée une zone touristique ; par conséquence le secteur industriel perd quotidiennement sa centralité. Le développement d’un instrument d’analyse, fondé sur des données officielles et comparables, est considéré pour dôter la Mer Méditerranée d’un pouvoir industriel et commercial et pour aider les régions méditerranéennes dans la recherche de la diversification économique, qui joue un rôle fondamental dans les économies solides.
Le Projet a comme but principal la création d’un “Observatoire sur l'Industrie de la Méditerranée“ initialement adressé aux Régions participantes, la Province de Rome, la Communauté Autonome des Iles Baléares, la Région de la Macédoine Centrale, la Province du Medio Campidano et la Région de la Crète et, dans un proche avenir, aux autres régions du monde.
Le Projet OBSIND, financé par le Programme d'Initiative Communautaire INTEREGG III B MEDOCC, vise à:
- favoriser le matchmaking entre les opérateurs privés des différentes zones territoriales qui désirent entreprendre le processus d'internationalisation;
- créer une zone d'échange/partage d'expériences et de best practices au service des acteurs institutionnels impliqués dans le processus d'internationalisation du secteur productif local;
- mener des analyses comparatives parmi des situations similaires dans les régions participantes et étudier les difficultés spécifiques;
- instituer une stratégie de développement de l'industrie de la Méditerranée pour renforcer sa présence sur les marchés étrangers;
- réaliser un espace physique et/ou virtuel où les entrepreneurs peuvent partager leur know-how, des informations et des données utiles à la vente et à l'internationalisation de leurs produits;
- fournir aux policy makers locaux des indications quali-quantitatives utiles pour ce qui concerne l'évolution de la production industrielle, afin de les aider à identifier des politiques et des synergies de développement économique local.
OBSIND vise à devenir un instrument de liaison économique-commercial entre les régions méditerranéennes. De ce point de vue, le OBSIND Market Place est le composant principal de l’Observatoire et représente l'espace de proposition et recherche de partenariat commerciales.
